When you browse our platform, we may automatically collect:

- Referring URLs and search terms
- Company profile view counts
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We do not currently purchase or receive personal data from third-party data brokers. If this changes, we will update this policy accordingly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your company account and profile on the directory
- To verify your company and award verification badges
- To facilitate RFQ submissions between buyers and listed companies
- To send transactional emails such as account approval, RFQ notifications, and replies

3. Legal Basis for Processing (UAE & DIFC)

4.1 Public Directory Listings
By registering a company on our platform, you acknowledge that your company name, description, contact details (phone, email, website), sector, emirate, verification badge, and project images will be publicly visible to all visitors of the directory.
4.2 RFQ Recipients
When a visitor submits an RFQ to your company, their name, email address, phone number, company name, and project details will be shared with your company account inbox.
4.3 Service Providers
We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including:
- Web hosting and server providers
- Email delivery services (for transactional emails)
- Analytics providers (anonymised or aggregated data only)
All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
4.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by UAE law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our platform, users, or the public.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your company account remains active on the platform, or as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. Specifically:
- Company profile data is retained for the duration of the active listing.
- RFQ data is retained for 24 months from the date of submission.
- Trade licence documents are retained for the duration of the verification period plus 12 months.
- Log data and analytics are retained for up to 12 months.
Upon account deletion or closure, we will remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal or regulatory purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These include:
- Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
- Regular security reviews and updates
- Secure storage of uploaded documents with restricted access
